About AI Tool Pick

AI Tool Pick exists to answer one question well: which AI tool should I use for the thing I am actually trying to do? We start from the task — editing a photo, building a deck, deciding whether a subscription is worth it — and work back to the tool, instead of reviewing tools in a vacuum.

How we test

Every guide starts from each vendor's own pages: what the plans cost, what the free tier actually allows, where a limit or a licence bites. We check those against the source rather than repeating what other roundups say, and we re-check them as tools change — the date and the revision history sit at the top of each guide. Guides that have also been put through hands-on use say so at the top; the rest say testing is still pending, so you always know which one you are reading.

How we stay honest

Some links are affiliate links, but our recommendations are never decided by commission. Every guide includes a plain "who this is not for" section, and we flag when a free tool beats a paid one. See our affiliate disclosure for details.
